The Ministry of Good Taste
The official home of W. T. Falscher's work.
There are artists who decorate the world.
And there are artists who question it.
W. T. Falscher belongs to the second kind.
The Swiss conceptual artist works at the intersection of language, perception and provocation. His works do not hang quietly on walls — they occupy space, claim attention and demand a response.
Whether in physical form or as net art in the digital realm, each piece by W. T. Falscher is a precisely constructed statement about the world we inhabit and the stories we tell ourselves about it. His series Ministry of Good Taste is not about aesthetics.
It is about judgment and who holds it.
What is the Ministry of Good Taste?
The Ministry of Good Taste is a body of conceptual works that examines authority, culture and the invisible hierarchies that govern what we call refined, appropriate or beautiful.
The title is ironic by design.
No ministry exists. No authority has been appointed. And yet someone always decides what is in good taste and what is not.
W. T. Falscher makes that tension visible.
Each work in this series is a singular statement. Taken together, they form a portrait of a world that mistakes convention for quality, and consensus for truth.
Art that lives online.
W. T. Falscher extends his practice into the digital space. His net art works exist as living websites not representations of art, but art itself. Among them:
usa.country — US Declaration of Independence for Dummies
waitingpage.com — WAIT. An endless loop.
A meditation on time, patience and the human condition of standing still while the world moves.
These works are publicly accessible. They require nothing from the viewer - except attention.
Buy the World.
How hungry are you? Which country do you want to buy?
In a world where sovereign nations are openly discussed as commodities, W. T. Falscher takes the idea seriously — and turns it into art.
On buythe.world, every country on earth is available for purchase. Prices are calculated according to IMF GDP estimates. The USA costs $28,781. Andorra $3.70. But there is a condition: all proceeds are donated to organisations fighting world hunger — with a focus on children in the poorest regions of the world.
Buyers do not acquire territory. They acquire a place on a world map, a link, and a position in net art history.
Acquire a work.
The works of W. T. Falscher are available to serious collectors, institutions and galleries.
There is no fixed price list. Each acquisition is a conversation.
If a work speaks to you — tell us why, and what you are prepared to offer. We will respond personally to every serious enquiry.

Who is W. T. Falscher?
Under the pseudonym W. T. Falscher hides a Swiss artist who does not want to be recognized. He shies away from the public eye, social media and all the hype surrounding his work.
I have a question for the artist. Who should I contact?
Contact us directly. Drop us an email. Please keep in mind that we sometimes receive a large number of inquiries each day. While we’ll do our best to respond promptly, we kindly ask for your patience.
What is a Certificate of Authenticity?
Think of it as an M.O.T. for the art world. A certificate of authenticity (COA) ensures that you can buy, sell, or insure a piece of art with confidence, knowing it’s genuine and won’t come with unexpected surprises. Our office is the only official source of COAs for W. T. Falscher’s work. We provide them for paintings, prints, sculptures, and other creative endeavors. Our COA is called wtfCOA
Where can I buy new W. T. Falscher artwork?
Here is the sole official point of sale for new works by the artist.
If galleries offer works of art by W. T. Falscher, they will be listed here. If you see a work by W. T. Falscher somewhere in a gallery that is not listed here, then it is either a resale or a forgery.
No galleries are currently involved in the sale.
Purchase outside of this website
If you’ve agreed to purchase a W. T. Falscher artwork—but before making payment—you can submit the details to us (a copy of wtfCOA to raphael@dudler.swiss), and we’ll verify it against our database to ensure its authenticity. This is a thorough process designed to safeguard both the buyer and the seller.
We can only provide this service if the artwork already has a wtf certificate of authenticity (wtfCOA). There is a fee for this service, which will be refunded if the artwork is found to be fake.
If the artwork doesn’t have a wtfCOA, the owner will need to submit an authentication request instead.
Cost
Processing an NFT for authentication = CHF 250 + VAT.
Processing an Original via mail for authentication = CHF 350 + VAT.
By the way: every time we sell original works, we ask the buyer for their wallet address so that we can then send the certificate of authenticity as an NFT. If the owner of the artwork does not have a wallet and is not familiar with blockchain, the buyer receives a printed document - our wtfCOA - together with the artwork. Therefore: ask the owner for the NFT too!
Authentication request
Important
As a rule, we send a certificate of authenticity as an NFT to the buyer's wallet for every work of art. It is therefore the rule that the NFT must also be transferred to the new owner each time the artwork is resold. Reselling a work of art by W. T. Falscher without transferring the corresponding NFT to the new owner harbours risks when it comes to proving the authenticity of the artwork.
If there is no NFT for the artwork available and also no wtfCOA, the artwork is most likely a forgery. To investigate this, the following measure is necessary.
Please provide us as much detail as you have on the history of your artwork by email to raphael@dudler.swiss:
- Your name and full current home address
- Your relationship and status to the artwork (private collector, gallery, legal representative of the owner, etc.)
- Artwork title
- Artwork type (print, original, signed, unsigned)
- Edition No. # of #
- Dimensions (unframed), height x width (cm)
- Purchase price (incl. taxes)
- Purchase date
- Purchased from
- All previous owner information, provenance etc.
and
- A straight on image of the Artwork as a whole (front) & an image of the reverse of the work, close up images of the edition number, signature (where applicable) and any other markings and also proof of purchase including all receipts and provenance plus two images of your photo identification: one with yourself, and the second next to the edition number on the artwork.
Should the work be verified we will issue you with a Certificate of Authentication (wtfCOA).
We use the information provided to record you as the owner, this means no one else can pretend it belongs to them.
If you have multiple W. T. Falscher pieces that you’d like to be considered for authentication, please complete a separate form for each.
Cost
Processing an NFT for authentication = CHF 250 + VAT.
Processing an Original via mail for authentication = CHF 350 + VAT.
You will not be charged if the work is found to be a fake.
Change of ownership
If you’ve already purchased a W. T. Falscher artwork with a wtfCOA on the secondary market, we recommend registering yourself as the new owner if no NFT is available as a certificate of authenticity. This helps confirm your transaction, prevents others from claiming it as their own, and helps identify counterfeit works.
There is a fee for this service of CHF 150 + VAT, which will be refunded if the artwork is determined to be fake.
If an NFT is present, it costs nothing because the seller must give you the NFT (transfer it to your wallet) and we are fine.

I am interested in a work of art that has already been sold. Can you help me?
For works of art that have already been sold, we know at least the first buyer and in some cases we have the full provenance. We are happy to contact the owner and make an offer. This service is free of charge.
Should a sale take place through us as a trustee, we charge 5% of the purchase price as an artist's royalty.
If you are interested, please contact us at raphael@swiss.dudler. We need the catalog number of the artwork and your offer.
