For years, W. T. Falscher has spoken without sound. Through images. Through concepts. Through works that live at web addresses rather than on gallery walls. His art has always been eloquent — and always silent. That changes today.

A new room in the house
Every artist reaches a point where the existing forms are no longer enough to say what needs saying. Falscher's paintings, his readymades, his net art, his movement Trumpicism — all of it circled the same concern: that art must be a witness to its time. With ARR, he opens a room in that house he had never entered before. Music. The same witness, now given a voice.
This is not a side project or a novelty. It is a completion. What the images observed in silence, the songs now say out loud — and in doing so, Falscher's body of work becomes something fuller than it was a week ago.
How it was made — the honest version
We believe in naming things as they are, so here is the truth of how ARR came to be. It is a genuine collaboration between two people and artificial intelligence.
The lyrics began with me — Raphael Dudler. As Falscher's agent, his friend, and the person who runs The Ministry of Good Taste on his behalf, I wrote the original words, in German. Some of them, in their first form, were raw and unfiltered — written for adults, harder and more explicit than what you will hear today. Falscher took those words, translated them into English, and in translating them, tempered them — keeping the edge, removing what did not need to be said.
From there, the music was built the way so much is built now: in partnership with AI. Falscher had the musical prompts drafted with the help of one AI, then reworked and adjusted them himself. The arrangements and final production were shaped and rebuilt through another. At every stage, a human hand chose, filtered, and decided. This is the same philosophy that runs through everything we do — handmade with AI. The machine is an instrument. The artist is still the one playing it.
Two people. Two minds. Several machines. And a record that, we think, stands on its own.
Art you can hear
Until now, Falscher's work asked to be looked at, and thought about. ARR asks to be listened to. It carries the same principle that has guided everything he makes — art reflects reality — into melody, rhythm and voice. The songs hold a mirror to our time the way his images always have, only now you can play them in the dark, with your eyes closed.
His first album. A new field of art, newly entered. A body of work, made more complete.
